At the 2025 Sankofa National Prestige Honours, held at the National Theatre in Accra, Apostle General Dr. Degraft Osei Kwame was recognised as a religious leader of our time.
The honour cited his work in shaping the nation through the Word of God. Other honourees that night included Professor Kofi Agyekum of the University of Ghana and Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, former Chairman of The Church of Pentecost.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong was special guest and was named Statesman of the Year. The Paramount Chief of Assin Kushea, Nana Prah Agyensaim IV, chaired the occasion.
